Best pitch deck consultants (2026): who writes the raise, and what they charge
Pitch deck consultants do one or more of three jobs: the story investors are supposed to believe, the slides, and the financial model behind the numbers. A design shop that makes a pretty deck will not fix a round that does not have a clear use of funds. A strategy firm that will not touch the slides leaves you with a memo.
Two firms publish package prices. Slidebean lists pitch deck writing and design at $3,500, and a strategy sprint starting at $6,000. Waveup lists an investor deck from $6,000 and a financial model from $3,000. Counsel for the round is startup law firms. The finance function is fractional CFO firms.
Key takeaways
- Slidebean publishes a $3,500 writing and design package and a strategy sprint from $6,000. It also sells deck software and financial modeling.
- Waveup publishes an investor deck from $6,000 and a financial model from $3,000, and also sells fundraising advisory and a fractional CFO offer.
- Viktori publishes fixed fundraising engagements, including a $1,500 review of a deck that is stalling and a $5,000 engagement covering positioning, narrative, a deck, a one-pager, and a financial slide.
- Duarte, Ethos3, BrightCarbon, and SketchDeck are presentation firms. They are a fit for the talk and the slides, including board and sales decks, not only a seed raise.
- Cayenne Consulting has written business plans and fundraising materials since 2001. Superside is a subscription design team that can produce decks as one of many design jobs.
Fundraising narrative, decks, and models
These firms are hired because a round is coming. Ask whether they introduce investors. Most do not, and a fee that implies they do should be read twice.
Slidebean
Pitch deck software company that also sells consulting. The consultants page lists pitch deck writing and design at $3,500, delivered in 2 to 3 weeks, and a strategy plus deck sprint starting at $6,000. Financial modeling is a separate service. Slidebean says the startups it has helped have raised $500 million in total. That figure is the company's own.
Best for: Pre-seed to Series B teams that want a written and designed deck on a fixed package
Fees: Writing and design $3,500. Strategy sprint from $6,000. Both on the consultants page as of this check.
Waveup
Fundraising consultancy. Services include pitch deck narrative and design, financial models, investor targeting, and due diligence support. The pricing page lists an investor deck from $6,000 and a financial model from $3,000. It also sells a subscription that can include a fractional CFO and a fundraising advisor.
Best for: Founders who want the narrative and the model from one firm
Fees: Investor deck from $6,000. Financial model from $3,000. Higher-touch advisory is scoped.
Viktori
Fundraising consulting practice. The site lists fixed engagements, including a $1,500 review for a deck that is stalling in investor conversations, and a $5,000 engagement covering capital positioning, narrative, a deck, a one-pager, and a financial slide.
Best for: Founders who want the story diagnosed before more design
Fees: $1,500 and $5,000 engagements published on the fundraising page. Confirm which deliverables are in the current tier.
Cayenne Consulting
Business plan consultancy operating since 2001. Work includes business plans, financial projections, and fundraising materials for companies preparing to raise.
Best for: A full plan and model, not a ten-slide cosmetic pass
Fees: Fees not published on the homepage.
Presentation studios
Use a presentation studio when the story is already true and the slides, the leave-behind, or the talk are the weak part. That includes sales decks after the round, not only the raise.
Duarte
Communication firm for presentation strategy, design, and training. It is built for high-stakes talks: investor narratives, board meetings, and keynotes, with coaching as well as slides.
Best for: A high-stakes talk where the speaker needs coaching with the deck
Fees: Fees not published.
Ethos3
Presentation design agency. It designs decks and also trains people to present them.
Best for: A designed deck plus presentation coaching
Fees: Fees not published.
BrightCarbon
Presentation design agency. Work is the visual story and the slides, including complex B2B and product narratives.
Best for: A complex deck that needs a specialist design team
Fees: Fees not published as a package price on the homepage.
SketchDeck
Design service for presentations and other marketing design, set up for repeat deck work rather than a one-time fundraising narrative.
Best for: Ongoing sales and marketing decks
Fees: Fees not published as a single fundraising package.
Superside
Subscription design team. Presentations are one of the formats it produces, alongside other brand and marketing design. It is a production capacity, not a fundraising advisor.
Best for: Teams that need decks designed on a subscription
Fees: Subscription. Rates are quoted.

How to choose a pitch deck consultant
Ask for a deck they are allowed to show, at your stage, and ask what the company raised after it. Then ask what they will not do. Introductions to investors are a different service from slides, and most fixed packages do not include them.
- Separate narrative, design, and the financial model in the proposal.
- Ask how many revision rounds are included.
- Ask who does the work. A senior name on the site and a junior on the file is a common gap.
- If you need the legal documents, hire counsel. A deck consultant does not close the round.
- If the numbers are the problem, a fractional CFO may matter more than another slide pass.
The deck gets the meeting. The system has to run after it
OneGTM does not write pitch decks. We build outbound and CRM systems, which is the part of the story investors will ask you to show once the round is spent on hiring sellers.
That work is on the outbound agency page.
- The raise closes and there is still no account list.
- The deck's pipeline chart cannot be traced in the CRM.
