The GTME Data Report, every quarter

I publish a data report on GTM engineers and the roles hiring them every quarter, built from LinkedIn profiles and job postings. Each edition stays up unchanged, so you can see what moved from one quarter to the next. Read the latest, Q3 2026.

This is separate from the annual State of GTME survey.

Editions

The Q4 2026 edition is planned for January 2027.

Quarter over quarter

Q3 2026 is the first edition, so it sets the baseline. Changes start with the Q4 2026 edition.

How to read the changes

  • Counts are running totals. People and roles add up since the start of the data, and postings reach back to about December 2025, so they mostly grow.
  • Small moves can be noise. Shares and medians shift with what the sources return and how many postings I read, so read a move of a point or two as flat.
  • Each edition's method is on its page. If a method changes, the new edition says so.
