Best direct mail and gifting platforms (2026): gifts, notes, cookies, and mail APIs for outbound
Direct mail and gifting platforms let a B2B sales team send something physical to a prospect or customer: a gift, a box of cookies, a handwritten note, a postcard, or branded swag. In outbound, a send works best as one step inside a sequence, timed to a signal, with an email or LinkedIn message that references it.
Below are the gifting platforms, handwritten note services, food and treat vendors with corporate programs, and print and mail APIs worth knowing, with what each vendor publishes about price. None of these are in OneGTM's own stack; we wire them into client outbound when a physical touch fits the deal size. At the end we cover how to trigger sends from signals and how to make the math work.
Key takeaways
- Gifting platforms (Sendoso, Reachdesk, Postal) are priced for mid-market and enterprise teams. Goody and Snappy have free plans.
- Handwritten notes cost about $1 to $3 per card plus postage at volume, and most services have an API or Zapier hook.
- Food gifts work when you order direct from a bakery's corporate program; ask for logo packaging and multi-address shipping.
- Lob and PostGrid send postcards and letters by API, which is the cheapest way to add mail to an automated sequence.
- Send on a signal, let the recipient enter their own address where you can, and follow up within a few days of delivery.
Gifting platforms
These handle the catalog, the warehouse, the address collection, and the CRM integration. Most let the recipient choose or swap the gift and enter their own shipping address, which solves the problem of not knowing where a remote buyer lives. Sendoso bought Alyce in 2024 and later bought Postal, so three of the older names now sit under one company.
Sendoso
Sending platform for gifts, eGifts, swag, and direct mail, with bulk and one-to-one sends, warehousing and kitting on higher tiers, and CRM and sales engagement integrations plus an MCP server.

How to choose a direct mail or gifting setup
Start with deal size. A $70 cake makes sense on a $50K opportunity and makes no sense on a $3K one. Most teams end up with two tiers: a cheap note or postcard that goes out broadly, and a real gift held for late-stage deals, key accounts, and customers.
Buy a platform such as Sendoso, Reachdesk, or Postal when you send hundreds of gifts a month across several teams and need warehousing, budgets, and approval rules. Below that, Goody or Snappy plus a handwritten note service and one bakery's corporate program cover most outbound use, for far less money.
- Check whether the recipient can enter their own address. That decides whether you can gift people you only know by email.
- Check for an API, Zapier, or a native connection to your CRM and sequencer. Manual sends do not survive past the first month.
- Check international shipping if you sell outside the US. Perishables rarely cross borders.
- Ask about gift limits. Many companies and most government buyers cap what employees can accept.
Wiring gifts into signals and outbound sequences
A gift sent at random is a nice surprise that nobody connects to a meeting. A gift sent on a buying signal and referenced in the next email gives the prospect a reason to reply. The send should be a step in the sequence, fired by the same workflow that writes the email.
The usual flow: a signal lands, the contact is enriched and scored, a workflow calls the gifting or mail API, and the cold email or LinkedIn step a few days later mentions it. When you have no address, send a recipient-choice eGift link (Goody, Snappy, Sugarwish, Postal MagicLink) and follow up after it is redeemed.
- Funding round or new office: send a note or treats to the team that will buy.
- New executive in the seat: a handwritten note in their first 30 days, then the email.
- Champion changed jobs: a gift to their new company with a short congratulations.
- Meeting booked: a note or small treat before the call to cut no-shows.
- Deal stalled in late stage: the bigger gift, sent to the decision maker.
- New customer signed: a thank-you that also asks for a review or a case study.
Making the math work
Price the full send: gift, packaging, shipping, platform fee, and the time to pick accounts. Then work out how many meetings or closed deals the program needs to pay back. If 100 sends at $60 each cost $6,000 and your average deal is $30K, one extra closed deal covers it several times over. If your average deal is $5K, stick to notes and postcards.
Track it like any other channel. Tag every send in the CRM, compare reply and meeting rates against a matched group that got the same sequence with no gift, and cut the tiers that do not move the number.
When to get help with gifting and direct mail
Picking a vendor takes an afternoon. The hard part is deciding who gets a send, firing it from a signal at the right moment, and making sure the next email or LinkedIn message references it.
OneGTM builds outbound systems that trigger notes, gifts, and mail from signals inside your own CRM and sequencer, so you can see which sends booked meetings. You own the accounts and the workflows.
- You pay for a gifting platform but reps rarely use it.
- Gifts go out with no follow-up step attached.
- You want handwritten notes or postcards fired automatically from signals.
- You cannot tell whether gifting is producing pipeline.
