Best case study writing agencies (2026): written and video customer stories for B2B
Case study writing agencies interview your customers and turn what they say into written customer stories, video testimonials, sales slides, and quote cards. For a B2B company, a good case study is the proof that closes deals: a named customer, a specific problem, and a number that moved.
Below are the agencies that write and film B2B case studies, plus the software teams use to collect proof themselves, with what each publishes about price. OneGTM is not a case study agency. We include a section on what a strong B2B case study contains, using our own numbers-led example.
Key takeaways
- A done-for-you written case study runs about $2,500 to $4,400 at the agencies that publish prices.
- Video customer stories cost more, from about $5,750 per story at Testimonial Hero.
- Software such as UserEvidence, Vocal Video, Senja, and Testimonial collects proof at scale for far less per story.
- The best case studies lead with one hard number, a before and after, and the customer's own words.
- Getting the customer to agree is the hardest step. Ask right after a measurable win.

What a good B2B case study contains
A buyer reads a case study to answer one question: did this work for a company like mine? Lead with the result. Put the number in the headline, then explain the starting point, what changed, and how long it took. Quote the customer in their own words, and name the company and the person if they will let you.
OneGTM's Coastal Recruiting case study is an example of a numbers-led one: accepted candidate intros went from 72 to 340 a month, a 4.7x increase, between April and August 2026. The headline number, the baseline, the time frame, and what we built all sit at the top of the page.
- One hard number in the headline, with the baseline it grew from.
- A time frame, so the reader knows how long it took.
- The customer's situation before, in enough detail that a peer recognizes it.
- What was built or changed, in plain terms.
- Direct quotes from a named person at the customer.
- A short summary block a sales rep can paste into an email.
Agency or software
Hire an agency for the three to five flagship stories your sales team will send every week. The interview is a skill, and a good interviewer gets the quote and the number your own team would miss.
Use software for volume. UserEvidence, Vocal Video, Senja, and Testimonial collect proof from dozens of customers for less than the cost of one agency story. Many teams run both: software for breadth, an agency for depth.
Getting customers to agree to a case study
The hardest part of a case study is the customer's approval. Ask right after a measurable win, when the champion is proud of the result and wants credit for it internally.
- Frame it as a story about the champion's win, with their name and photo.
- Offer an anonymized version if legal will not approve the logo.
- Keep the ask to one 30 to 45 minute interview, and do the writing yourself.
- Give them approval over the final draft.
- Offer something back: a backlink, a feature in your newsletter, or a speaking slot.
When to get help putting case studies to work
A case study sitting on your website does little. It earns its cost when it shows up in outbound, matched to the prospect's industry and problem, at the right step in the sequence.
OneGTM builds outbound systems that pull the right proof into each email and LinkedIn message by segment. We do not write case studies, but we make sure the ones you have get used.
- You have case studies but reps rarely send them.
- Every prospect gets the same proof point regardless of industry.
- You want outbound copy built around your best customer numbers.
- You are deciding which customer stories to commission first.
