LinkedIn account rental (2026): who rents profiles, what it costs, and what you are taking on
LinkedIn account rental means paying a vendor every month for access to someone else's LinkedIn profile, usually an aged account with a few hundred connections, so you can send connection requests and messages from it. Outbound teams and agencies use rented profiles to add sending capacity on top of their own accounts, and most plug them into a multi-sender tool like HeyReach. Each profile adds roughly another 100 invitations a week.
It also runs straight into LinkedIn's User Agreement, which says you will not share your account and will not use anyone else's. Below are the rental services we could verify on their own sites, with current pricing, then a plain section on the risks, the compliant ways to get more LinkedIn reach, and how to vet a vendor if you go ahead. OneGTM does not rent accounts and has no deal with anyone listed. This page is general information, not legal advice.
Key takeaways
- Published rental prices run from about $45 to $190 per profile per month, with Sales Navigator often a $35 to $70 add-on.
- Most vendors hand you a login inside an anti-detect browser with a dedicated proxy. A few have the profile owner run the account so no password changes hands.
- LinkedIn's User Agreement bans sharing an account, using someone else's, and renting or monetizing access. Every model on this page sits against those terms.
- When the lease ends or LinkedIn restricts the profile, the connections and conversation history stay with the account, so log every reply in your own CRM.
- The compliant route to more reach is more of your own team's profiles, founder-led sends, LinkedIn Conversation Ads, and email.
Rental services that hand you the account
These vendors give you access to a profile, usually through an anti-detect browser such as GoLogin or AdsPower locked to a dedicated proxy, and you connect your own automation tool. The vendor or the profile owner keeps ownership of the account and its email.

How LinkedIn account rental works
A rental vendor recruits people with established LinkedIn profiles, pays them a monthly fee, and leases access to you. Many vendors check the owner's ID, some with an NFC read of a passport chip, and warm the account for weeks or months before handing it over. Some vendors say the accounts belong to their own staff.
Most often you receive the account inside an anti-detect browser profile (GoLogin and AdsPower are the common ones) that is locked to a dedicated residential, mobile, or ISP proxy in the account's country. Every login comes from the same IP and device fingerprint, so LinkedIn sees one consistent user. You then connect your automation tool through that same proxy. HeyReach, Expandi, and Linked Helper are the tools these vendors name most often. Owner-run services skip the handover: the owner connects their own account to your campaign.
You usually get to edit the headline and about section, and many vendors forbid changing the name or photo because that breaks their guarantee. The profile, its email, its connections, and every conversation stay with the account. When you stop paying, the access goes and the network you built goes with it.
The risks of renting LinkedIn accounts
Start with the terms. Section 2.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement says: "You will not share your account with anyone else." In section 8.2, members agree not to "use or attempt to use another's account (such as sharing log-in credentials or copying cookies)", not to "rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell or otherwise monetize the Services or related data or access to the same, without LinkedIn's consent", and not to "use bots or other unauthorized automated methods" to add contacts or send messages. A login rental touches all three. Owner-run models avoid handing over credentials, but the owner is still being paid to give you access to their account. Goaccounts, one rental vendor, says on its own site that using its service may not comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement.
Accounts get restricted. Vendors sell replacement guarantees because restrictions are expected, and a replacement is a different person with a different network. Pending invitations, accepted connections, and live threads on the restricted account are gone for you, and the same happens when a lease ends or a vendor closes. Review sites report that TopUzer and OutreachAccounts, both listed as rental providers earlier in 2026, have shut down.
Your data sits in someone else's account. Prospect replies, phone numbers, and meeting details land in an inbox owned by a third party, under a contract with a vendor you may know little about. If you sell into the EU or UK, work out who is the controller of that personal data before you start, and sync every reply into your own CRM the day it arrives.
Then there is the brand. A prospect who gets a message from a rented profile is talking to a stranger whose headline says they work with you. If they check, call, or meet that person, the story falls apart, and a buyer who feels misled will remember the company name more than the sender's. This is general information about LinkedIn's published terms and common practice. It is not legal advice, so talk to a lawyer before you commit client work to rented accounts.
Compliant ways to get more LinkedIn reach
Most teams that rent accounts are short on sending capacity. There are ways to add capacity that keep every message coming from a real person who works with you.
- Send from more of your own team. SDRs, AEs, founders, and customer success leads each have a profile, and a multi-sender tool from our LinkedIn automation tools list can rotate campaigns across them at safe volumes.
- Run founder-led sends to your best accounts. A short list from the founder's own profile usually gets more replies than volume from strangers.
- Use LinkedIn Ads. Conversation Ads and Message Ads land in members' LinkedIn inboxes from a named sender at your company, run through LinkedIn's own ad platform, so no invitation limits or shared logins are involved.
- Put more weight on email. See our cold email software list and run LinkedIn and email from the same list.
- Build better lists so each invitation counts. Our LinkedIn scrapers page covers tools for pulling targeted prospects.
- Hire people to run it from their own profiles inside your team, or work with an outbound agency that sends from your accounts.
How to vet a rental vendor if you go ahead
If you decide the trade-off is worth it, ask these before you pay, and get the answers in writing.
- Where do the accounts come from? Ask for the owner agreement and how consent is recorded. Walk away from vendors that sell accounts outright, offer to change the name and photo, or will not say.
- Who owns the account email and the recovery method, and what happens to the connections and conversations when the lease ends?
- Is each account on its own dedicated proxy in the account's country, and is the anti-detect browser profile included?
- What exactly does the replacement guarantee cover, how fast, and what voids it? Read the guarantee terms before you rely on them.
- What daily and weekly limits does the vendor require, and which automation tools have they tested with?
- How will replies get into your CRM, and who can read the inbox on their side?
- Can you cancel monthly, and do you get a refund for downtime while an account is restricted?
When it makes sense to get help with LinkedIn outreach
Teams usually look at rented accounts when LinkedIn is the only channel working and their own profiles are maxed out. Often the faster fix is a sharper list and a better mix of LinkedIn and email.
OneGTM sets up LinkedIn from your own team's profiles alongside email: the lists, the account ramp, the messages, and reply routing into your CRM. The accounts and the network stay yours.
- You have hit the weekly invitation cap on your own profiles and want more pipeline without renting strangers.
- You want LinkedIn and cold email running from the same list.
- An account was restricted and you want a safer setup before trying again.
- You are weighing rented accounts and want a second opinion first.
