# Job posting data for sales (2026): the sources we use, and how to turn a job post into a meeting

Job posting data is the record of what roles a company is hiring for, with titles, descriptions, locations, and dates. For sales it is the cheapest strong signal there is. A company hiring three claims processors is telling you, in public, that it processes claims by hand. A company posting its first RevOps role is about to buy tools.

Below are the sources OneGTM uses to pull job posts, the job postings APIs built for sales signals, and the labor market datasets sold to investors and HR teams, with what each vendor publishes about price. For the wider set of triggers, see [buying signal tools](https://getaob.com/buying-signal-tools).

Key takeaways

- We pull job posts from Blitz and Apify, and run our own hiring-signal play in Deepline.
- Sales-focused APIs (TheirStack, PredictLeads, Coresignal) cost from $40 to $49 a month to start.
- Labor market datasets (LinkUp, Revelio Labs) are priced for investors and HR teams through sales.
- Description search is noisy. Pin the job title and an industry list, and drop staffing agencies.
- Write to the hiring manager, not the recruiter, and reference the role in the first line.

## Where OneGTM gets job posting data

Blitz is our default for job post search because it sits on a plan we already pay for. Apify fills gaps on specific job boards, and our own hiring-signal play runs in Deepline. LeadMagic's jobs endpoint covers one-off lookups.

### [Blitz](https://www.blitz-api.ai/?aff=garrett&utm_source=onegtm&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=job-posting-data)

OneGTM uses this

People, company, and job posting API. Jobs search filters by title, company, and industry and can drop staffing agencies, and a per-company endpoint returns open role counts, titles, and post dates. Every data type is open on every plan.

**Best for:** High-volume job post search on a flat monthly plan

**Pricing:** Start $99/month with 200,000 records fair use; Scale $499/month with 5,000,000; Build Your Infra from $999/month. 1,000 free records, no card.

### [Deepline](https://deepline.com/?utm_source=onegtm&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=job-posting-data)

OneGTM uses this

GTM data platform where signal plays run as scheduled workflows. OneGTM's own hiring-signal play runs here: it watches for target roles, scores the account, finds the hiring manager, and pushes them to a sequence. Monitors bill only when they return a match.

**Best for:** Turning job posts into scored, routed leads automatically

**Pricing:** Pay as you go at $0.10 per credit with no platform fee.

### [Apify](https://apify.com/?fpr=onegtm&utm_source=onegtm&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=job-posting-data)

OneGTM uses this

Scraping platform with ready-made actors for LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, and other boards. Pay per result, no platform fee on those actors, and you get the full job description.

**Best for:** Scraping a specific job board on demand

**Pricing:** LinkedIn Jobs Scraper from $1.00 per 1,000 results; Indeed Scraper from $3.00 per 1,000 listings. Apify free plan includes $5 of usage a month; Starter $19/month.

### [LeadMagic](https://go.leadmagic.io/garrett-wolfe?utm_source=onegtm&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=job-posting-data)

OneGTM uses this

Enrichment API with a Jobs Finder endpoint that returns a company's open roles, including salary data where posted. Handy when you are already enriching the account with LeadMagic.

**Best for:** Adding open roles to accounts you are already enriching

**Pricing:** Essential $99/month for 5,000 credits; Growth $249/month for 20,000; Professional $499/month; Ultimate $849/month. Jobs Finder is 1 credit per job.

**Best for:** Workforce research and market-level hiring trends

**Pricing:** Custom pricing; talk to sales. A free trial is offered.

Prices are from each vendor's site as of October 2026 and change often, so check before you buy. This is an opinionated list, not a paid ranking. Some links are referral links that may earn us a credit; that never changes what you pay or who makes the list.

## Why job posts are the best cheap signal

Intent data guesses at what a company is researching. A job post states what it is spending money on. Hiring is the most expensive thing a company does, so a posted role is a budget decision already made.

The best signals are roles that prove the pain you solve. If you sell document automation, filter for companies hiring data entry clerks, medical records specialists, or claims processors: they are showing you they do the work by hand. That beats guessing by industry, and a job post search is usually cheaper than any intent feed.

- Roles that do the work your product automates.
- A first hire in a function, such as the first RevOps or first security engineer.
- Leadership hires in your buyer's team, who arrive with a mandate and a budget.
- Descriptions that name a competitor or a tool you integrate with. See [tech stack tracking](https://getaob.com/tech-stack-tracking-tools).
- A sudden jump in open roles in one department.

## Cleaning job post data

Raw job post feeds are noisy. Full-text search on descriptions matches words in the wrong sense, staffing agencies repost the same role under their own name, and old posts get refreshed to look new. Clean before you enrich, or you pay to find contacts at companies that were never hiring.

- Pin the job title to the roles you mean. A keyword in the description alone pulls in noise.
- Add an industry list so a keyword match in the wrong field drops out.
- Exclude staffing and recruiting agencies with a flag or a keyword list.
- Dedupe by company, title, and location, and keep the earliest post date.
- Drop posts older than 30 to 45 days unless the role keeps getting reposted, which is its own signal.

## Turning a job post into outbound

Write to the person the new hire will report to, not the recruiter. The hiring manager owns the problem and the budget. Mention the role in the first line, then offer a way to get the work done before the seat is filled, or to make the new hire productive faster.

Speed matters. A post is freshest in its first two weeks. Pipe new matches into your sequencer daily, which is what our hiring-signal play in Deepline does, and route them with the same rules as any other [warm lead](https://getaob.com/lead-routing-tools).

## When to get help with hiring signals

Pulling job posts is cheap. The work is choosing roles that prove the pain, filtering out the noise, finding the hiring manager, and writing copy that does not read like a template.

OneGTM builds hiring-signal plays on Blitz, Apify, and Deepline that find the posts, score the account, find the right person, and push them to Instantly or HeyReach daily. You own the data and the workflows.

- You know which roles signal a buyer but have no way to watch for them.
- Your job post feed is full of staffing agencies and false matches.
- You want hiring signals to start sequences without a rep pulling lists.
- You are paying for intent data and want a cheaper signal that says more.

## Job posting data FAQ

### What is the best source of job posting data for sales?

TheirStack, PredictLeads, Coresignal, and Crustdata all sell job postings APIs built for prospecting, and Apify scrapes specific boards like LinkedIn Jobs and Indeed. OneGTM uses Blitz for job post search, Apify for specific boards, and Deepline to run its hiring-signal play.

### How much does a job postings API cost?

PredictLeads has 100 free calls a month and then $0.04 per call with a $40 minimum. TheirStack and Coresignal start at $49 a month, Blitz at $99 a month, and Apify's LinkedIn Jobs scraper from $1 per 1,000 results. LinkUp and Revelio Labs use custom pricing.

### Is it legal to scrape job postings?

Job posts are public and widely scraped, and courts in the US have generally treated scraping public pages differently from breaking into private data. Each job board's terms of service still apply, so check them or use a provider such as TheirStack or Coresignal that handles collection. This is not legal advice.

### Why use job posting data as a buying signal?

A job post shows where a company is already spending money, which is stronger evidence than topic research. Hiring for roles your product replaces or supports, or making a first hire in a function, tells you the problem and the budget both exist.

### Who should I contact when a company posts a job?

Contact the hiring manager, the person the new role reports to, not the recruiter. Blitz, Crustdata, and Coresignal can find people at the company by title once you know which team is hiring.

### How do I filter out staffing agencies from job post data?

Use an agency flag where the provider has one, as Blitz does on its jobs search, and add a keyword exclusion list such as staffing, recruiting, and talent solutions. Then dedupe by company, title, and location so reposts collapse into one row.

### What is the difference between job posting data and intent data?

Job posting data is what a company publicly says it is hiring for. Intent data from providers like Bombora infers what a company is researching from content consumption. Job posts are cheaper and easier to verify, and our intent data providers page covers the other side.
